ABOUT SOTA

We are a student-run writing group, aiming to provide a space for marginalized poets and playwrights to showcase and workshop their writing.

We host regular New Writing Nights, giving our contributors the opportunity to share their work. Our Writing Spaces are a chance for writers to collaborate and get inspired.

Our online presence springs from the uncertainty and isolation that many of us face at the moment. This is a space to share writing and keep SOTA as a safe space to spin ideas and get inspired, even without our physical meetings.

Current projects include a playwright pool, interviews with poets and digital Writing Nights.
